Amy vs The Infomercial - Who wins??

So I'm sure you've seen all the commercials for the Snuggie. I mean heck, all you have to do is have your television on for 5 minutes and it's sure to come on. And this stinkin' commercial has been a giant pain in my ass. Every time it comes on the boys beg for it. Beg. They mope and moan and plead to have a Snuggie of their very own. And just when things begin to wind down it comes back on. Talk about a vicious cycle.

So I had to do something about it. But I really didn't want to pay $60 bucks for 3 Snuggies. So after a little searching on the Internet I found some directions on how to make them!

And Walah.....

We now have one very happy boy in his dino Snuggie. Oh.... and two not so happy boys as I only had enough fleece on hand for one.

The nice thing about making it was I could make adjustments as I saw fit. I shortened it a bit so when walking he wouldn't trip and made it smaller over all.

Guess I'll be hitting the fabric store tonight!
